Our orientation and onboarding session provides essential information, training, and resources to help you succeed in your new CNS candidate role.

• Getting to know you! (your talents, previous experience in school, and SPE hours you may have obtained already, your clinical experience, and more)

• Confirming your state regulations to ensure you are fulfilling your SPE appropriately

• Overview of the BCNS SPE competency requirements 

• Learn what experiences count as SPE hours, how to diversify your experiences and how to log & report your hours

• Overview of a CNS candidate's role and responsibilities throughout their SPE

• Understand the resources and time you can provide in your current lifestyle

• Identify a client marketing & recruiting plan that makes sense for you

• Learn and receive the essential client paperwork and guidance of affordable legal coverage, tools and platforms that are necessary in clinical practice

• Identify a SPE practice model in your state that is appropriate

• Learn about the supportive services you will receive in the SPE enrollment option you chose
