Experience Options
Our SPE offers four options in an à la carte format, so that a CNS candidate can choose one or a combination of options to best fit their needs and budget.
Option 2
Low-Cost, Affordable Membership
If gaining more learning, experience, and hours through your own effort isn't enough and you need more community support, then joining one of our low-cost, affordable memberships may be for you! A CNS candidate may join the best membership option to fit there SPE hour requirements. Our memberships are able to provide additional SPE hours through our supportive group activities each month. Our membership includes limited
1:1 supervisor mentoring to support membership practice experiences only.
Option 3
Combining 1:1 Supervisor Mentoring & Membership
In our opinion, this is the best option for CNS candidates. CNS candidates can gain valuable experiences by working with our supervisors in a one-on-one format for their individual and group clients, while also gaining additional experiences and supplemental SPE hours through our membership.
Option 4
Supervised Observation
If you haven't gained any indirect observation hours, beginning your CNS candidacy with our 3-month supervised membership is essential, offering up to 250 indirect-observation hours. This structured program allows you to meet a significant portion of your 1000-hour requirement early in your SPE internship, ensuring you're well-prepared before moving on to direct care with clients.
